Fill out our online application to initiate the process of becoming a member. We are a working club, so it is important that you understand the work obligations and the code of conduct outlined in our bylaws.
SCBC has reciprocal agreements with many clubs along Lake Ontario on both the Canadian and American shores. You can visit other boat and yacht clubs around the lake, and boaters from other clubs can visit us here.
During the boating season the Social Committee will host a variety of social events, generally one per month. These events include a New Members Night, Sail Past, a Pig Roast, Commodore's Ball and many many more activities.
Frequently Asked Questions
Smugglers Cove Boat Club (SCBC) is a “working” club, which means all members are required to put in mandatory work hours to help maintain the complex. The amount of work hours required is set each year by the executive.
Club fees are very reasonable compared to many of the marinas and clubs around Lake Ontario. Click here to see the membership fee breakdown.
We have a maximum membership of 85 and we are always accepting new applications.
Niagara's Hidden Treasure
Nestled along the western bank of the Niagara River is a unique boat club, just 2 NM upriver of beautiful and historic Niagara on the Lake. Smuggler’s Cove Boat Club is an entirely floating club tucked in amongst the picturesque natural beauty of the Niagara Parkway, where it intersects with East and West Line, coming from Highway #55. The private gatehouse lies between the main clubhouse and the dock to shore.
